Daily Bit of Joy
I am SO excited for this. Recently, I have been brainstorming a way that I can encourage and direct my followers to Christ on a daily basis. I wanted to find something that would be realistic for me to do everyday and something that would be a “bit” of encouragement each day to anyone that follows me on Instagram. My main goal when I started my blog in December was to lead others to Christ and be a light in this community and share some fashion and lifestyle pieces along the way!
This idea has been on my mind for quite some time, but I just didn’t know exactly what it would look like to do something consistently and everyday to encourage those that follow me on Instagram. I KNOW that not everyone reads my blog. And that’s okay! Writing on my blog is something that I enjoy and even if one person reads it, that’s a win in my book! So if you’re still reading, you just made my day!
Last night Bogey woke me up at 3:00 a.m. (as usual) and I couldn’t go back to sleep for a few minutes. And for the record, Bogey is SO high maintenance. He wakes up every night at some point and makes me take him outside. All he does is stand on the patio to get some fresh air and then he comes back in and sleeps downstairs. I probably should just stop letting him do this, but as Cody knows too well, I am an enabler when it comes to my fur babies. Okay – back to the point! As I was struggling to fall back asleep, it hit me like a wall! I was so excited, I wanted to jump out of bed to start working on it (but I didn’t, of course, because I love sleeping too much). So here’s what it is!
Daily Bit of Joy!
My goal with #dailybitofjoy is to (hopefully) each day share some sort of action or word of encouragement on my Instagram story that everyone can do or think about! My hope is that it would encourage anyone following me to stop and think about what it may be for that day. I will be sharing scripture with each “daily bit” that supports what is being said. I feel like this is getting a little bit confusing to explain, so let me show you what it will look like!

Each day, the “daily bit” will change along with the scripture. If you do use Instagram, I encourage you to screenshot and share a “daily bit” that speaks to you on your own story! I will be sharing all of these to my highlights if you ever want to go back and read them!
