30A Beach House Rental with Oversee
Our first official family vacation at 30A has come to an end so I wanted to share all about our stay at The Three Sisters Cottage with Oversee. Oversee manages over 160 beautiful beach homes in the area. They are local to the area and know the area extremely well! I found it really comforting to know that an Oversee Guest Ambassador is no more than 10 miles away and they are available 24/7 for all of your needs. The Oversee website makes it extremely easy to search for the type of rental you’re looking for by filtering your search for your specific needs such as beach front, how many bedrooms you’ll need, etc.
This was the first time we had traveled with our kids who are ages three and a half and one and a half. Needless to say we were a little nervous to travel with them. It worked out perfectly staying at The Three Sisters Cottage through Oversee so that we could spread out and spend plenty of time at the house as well. This specific beach house can accommodate up 14 guests with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. There is a completely separate carriage house with a living area, fully stocked kitchen, bedroom and full bath. The house also has its own pool, which we loved using when we wanted to switch it up from the beach. My husband and I enjoyed having alone time together at the pool while the kids took their daily naps! Going into the vacation, we were a little nervous about a pool with the kids since we do not have one at home, but we were immediately relieved when we saw the security alarm on the pool door that sirens off as soon as the door opens unless you press the bypass button.
Another feature of the house that was a pleasant surprise to us was having a golf cart that seats 6 passengers. We ended up using the golf cart most days to drive up to the beach. One of the most asked questions I was receiving on Instagram was about location. I will leave a picture of the map below for those that are familiar with the area. We were extremely happy with the location of The Three Sisters Cottage. It is in the Seagrove Beach area and less than a 10 minute walk to Greenwood Beach. I made a reel on Instagram that shows our walk to the beach! This beach was less busy than others, had beautiful white sand and also had chairs & umbrella rentals if needed. The house is set back in the neighborhood directly across from the Greenwood Beach access point, so if you decide to walk, you will walk through a beautiful and scenic neighborhood to get to the beach. The Three Sisters Cottage is also walking distance Seaside. Since we decided to eat at the house most days for breakfast & lunch, we loved the convenience of having a Publix about 5 minutes away to grab all of the groceries we needed.
Another popular question you all had asked about was where we went to eat! We spent most mornings at the house making breakfast together, but we went out to eat a couple of times for lunch and for most dinners. We LOVED every single restaurant and all of them were more casual and kid friendly!
- Seagrove Village Market – We Went here for lunch and it was probably my favorite meal! Highly recommend getting the fried grouper sandwich. You order up front and then pick your seat, so it is a good option for a quicker meal with kids!
- Pickles – This is a seaside staple! This is an outdoor restaurant next to all of the Seaside shops. Cody got the Shrimp Po’Boy and I got the Burger and it was all so delicious. They also have amazing cocktails as well!
- Alley’s Pizza Bar – This is a sister restaurant to Bud & Alley’s, which we didn’t get a chance to go to, but we hope to next time! Alley’s pizza bar has outdoor tables and you just order up front! This is a great option for kids because it is in the heart of Seaside and there is a sand area next to the tables where the kids can play while you wait for your pizzas! I recommend the BBQ chicken pizza, it is so unique!
- Grayton Seafood Co. – Delicious “hole in the wall” type of environment! I would get the blackened grouper and Key Lime Pie for dessert!
My husband and I both can not say enough good things about our stay at The Three Sisters Cottage with Oversee. We would not change a thing and have already talked about planning our next stay with Oversee. When you book directly through the Oversee website, you can save between 10-20% when compared to their large competitiors. We feel very thankful to have made so many special memories here and can not wait to come back! If you have never been to 30A, I can not reccomend it enough for your next vacation. 30A has endless options for activities, restaurants and shopping. The area is very family friendly and has some of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever visited. This was our first time visiting 30A and now we fully understand why so many love to visit this very special community in Florida!
