Magnolia Market Travel Guide
This week, some of my girlfriends and I took a spontaneous weekday road trip to Magnolia Market! I had been receiving so many questions on Instagram about Magnolia, so I figured it would be fun to make a blog post out of it! For those who are not familiar Magnolia Market is located in Waco, TX and was founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines, the creators of the hit HGTV show Fixer Upper.
What To Do:
Go shopping at Magnolia Market // there is a huge store full of farmhouse inspired home decor and Magnolia Market memorabilia.
Another fun activity at Magnolia Market is visiting the beautiful garden and Seed + Supply Store! I couldn’t believe all of the beautiful florals 🙂
Dining:
There are a variety of food trucks on sight where you can grab your lunch and sit at shaded picnic tables. Some of the food truck options include BBQ, Pizza, Specialty Grilled cheese, and more! We went to Little Brisket BBQ and it was delicious! I highly recommend the Brisket Melt!
There are also some food trucks that offer some refreshing treats! There’s a lemonade and iced tea truck, a fresh juice truck, and a snow cone truck! I had to try Summer Snow because I can’t ever say no to a snow cone on a hot day!
You can also wait in line to have a bakery item and a refreshment at Silos Baking Co. Even though the line looks like, they take your order before you go into the store and get you through very quickly! We were too full to go to the bakery, but the cupcakes looked delicious!
Tips & Tricks:
- If possible, I would try to go on a weekday since it does get crowded!
- They have nice, air conditioned bathrooms that have clean changing tables as well!
- Magnolia Market is definitely kid & pet friendly!
- I would suggest trying to go with a girlfriend! Let’s just say it was way more fun with my girlfriends, than when Cody and I passed through a few weeks ago, haha!
