Our Favorite Holiday Traditions
Christmas Traditions with my family is one of the my favorite parts about the holiday season! Now that we have Davis, it has been the holiday season even more special!
This year we added a new Christmas tradition – baking Christmas cookies! I have been so busy this holiday season, so I am always looking for ways to be efficient with my time and stick to a budget. I can always depend on Walmart to have everything I need for an easy, one stop shopping experience! The best part about shopping at Walmart is that they always have the lowest prices!
They had so many festive baking items, that it made it hard to decide which kind of cookies to bake! Since we couldn’t decide, why not bake two different ones? I saw this darling Betty Crocker ‘Cookies for Santa’ kit that caught my eye with the festive packaging. I noticed that this kit included the icing and sprinkles, which was so convenient! The second cookies we are baked were sugar cookies with festive red and green M&Ms. I used the sugar cookie recipe on the back of the M&Ms package! Both cookies were quick, easy and delicious!
I am thankful for my local Walmart stores that have added so much convenience to my daily life as a busy, working mom while keeping us in our budget! It was so special adding a new Christmas tradition to create new holiday memories with my family.

- Baking Christmas cookies
- Reading a Christmas book to Davis every day in December
- Giving Davis a pair of pajamas, an ornament and a Christmas book on December 1st
- Looking at Christmas lights
- Going to Christmas Eve church service
- Having Appetizers and watching Christmas movies on Christmas Eve
