Oversee 30A at Watercolor
If you are looking to go on a beach vacation in paradise, I highly recommend using Oversee 30A to rent in the 30A area of Florida. We just got home from our week long vacation in Watercolor and I am so excited to give my full review of renting with Oversee along with more detailed information about the specific house we stayed in.
This was our second time renting with Oversee. Back in 2023, we rented a home just a few minutes away in Seagrove. We knew we would want to come back to the Seaside area since it is so family friendly, safe, clean and has so much to do with your family. Our ideal vacation as a family is having easy access to the beach, kid friendly pools, shopping and delicious restaurants. If you’ve been to the 30A area, you know how special it is. If you have never been, I couldn’t recommend it more!
Our kids are 5 and 3, so we wanted to make sure we were in a family friendly area that had plenty for us to do with our children. This was our first time staying in Watercolor and what is so special about in Watercolor is that you get access to their amenities such as Camp Watercolor, which is a family friendly pool area with food, full bar, slides, a lazy river and has a playground as well. You also have access to their private beach and Beach Club, which includes several more pools overlooking the beach along with a full bar and restaurant. Along with Camp Watercolor and the Beach Club you also have access to their tennis center and pickleball courts.
The house we stayed in this year is called Summersweet Cottage and we would stay here again in an instant. It came with a 6 seater golf cart, which we used all week long instead of our car. We loved the location of this darling cottage because it was just a quick golf cart drive to Publix (grocery store) and our favorite pizza place, Pizza by the Sea. One unique feature about this cottage is that behind the house is a beautiful creek area that has little bridges with so much nature to explore and our kids went “frog hunting” every single morning while we enjoyed our morning coffee in the screened in patio.
A lot of you on Instagram were asking me about our favorite places to eat in Seaside so I’ll share my top favorites here:
- Pickles – Our favorite place to have dinner! It’s outside by the main shops and they have the best burgers and shakes! Great option for a more casual dinner.
- Pizza by the Sea – Our favorite pizza maybe ever! We also love the salads! You can take it to go or eat there!
- Black Bear Bread Company – the best coffee and bakery shop! The line is usually out the door, so make sure to save some time to wait (it goes quickly). Must try to the cinnamon roll and lemon blueberry scone!
- Seagrove Market – We love this one! Food is all delicious and it has a nice local flare.
- Great Southern Cafe – Put your name in and let the kids run around in the green space while you wait! Make sure to request to sit outside!
